Violence Prevention Stakeholder Meeting | Lexington

The initiative to counter violence that was recently funded in Nebraska by the department of Homeland Security. This two year project is being implemented in two communities in Nebraska by the Two Rivers Public Health Department in partnership with the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency and the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center. Additionally, the project includes training for personnel in behavioral threat assessment and management issues to assist your system in spotting and responding to warning behaviors associated with the path to violence and radicalization. Your agency has been identified as potentially implicated by this work.

This will be a 90 min orientation on March 28th from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM in Lexington, NE at the Lexington Public Library in the Benseck Margret room.
