Kearney Stakeholder Meeting | Violence Prevention
We would like to introduce you to the new program focused on countering violence that was recently funded in Nebraska by the department of Homeland Security. This two year project is being implemented in two communities in Nebraska by the Two Rivers Public Health Department in partnership with the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency and the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center. Additionally, the project includes training for personnel in behavioral threat assessment and management issues to assist your system in spotting and responding to warning behaviors associated with the path to violence and radicalization.
This will be a 90 min orientation on May 4th from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM in Kearney, NE at the Kearney Public Library in the South Platte Room. Thank you for considering being involved in this important effort!
